ARTIST STATEMENT

Most of my works are oil paintings with mixed media on canvas. Classical sculptures are my favorite type of "Raw Material". Through my vision and my brush, I modify or re-assemble these images, thus, my personal interpretation is revealed.

The classical symbolism is just a medium that leads out the messages - the question conflict and irony towards tradition and contemporariness - that lie behind the mask of classical formality.

In this age of multi-trends in art, in this rapidly spinning world, I, the artist, stand firmly on the other side of the classicism mask to create a space that is of my mind.
