William Allister was born Oct. 5, 1919, at Benito, Manitoba. He passed away on Nov. 2, 2008 at his home in Delta, B.C. He was 89. His colourful career brought him from his birthplace in Benito, Manitoba to the far corners of the world. He had lived in Mexico, Hong Kong, Japan, Hollywood, New York and Montreal.
