Artist Info

From the Saskatchewan based small town of Swift Current, Canadian artist Daylon Plewis and wife Jordie discovered their love of design and metal work together as a team. Hand drawn, and ultimately hand plasma cut (without computers), Daylon’s three-dimensional metal art reflects their love of their Canadian heritage. Each work of art has a story and incorporates something reclaimed or reused from the past to share with the viewer in the present.

Daylon Plewis and his wife, Jordie, are artists from Swift Current, a small town in Saskatchewan. History, Art, and Welding are his passions!

Their metal art started with the needs of young newly weds, as my wife and I got married at 19 years old in 2015! Like every marriage comes a “honey-do” list and trust me mine was long! As things got built and made for our house my wife started pushing me to showcase what I had done. Eventually my wife couldn’t help herself and made me a Facebook page and it blew up with a name I didn’t know the potential it would have! What a blessing that turned out to be, my passion made into something that could be shared for generations starting with my wife and I and now our two daughters.

My work turned into a love, passion of art, and preserving pieces of this great country’s history. We are all about reclaiming and reusing pieces of history and family treasures into art and décor for generations to come and enjoy! Everything is hand drawn by my wife or I, and hand plasma cut by myself (no computers needed).
